The daughter of James B. and Sophia (Bledsoe) Herrick, Virginia Herrick married Hugh Francis Fox in 1887. Their daughter Virginia (1888-1977) married Edward Eyre Hunt (1885-1953); daughter Louise (1891-1984) married Richard E. Connell (1893-1949). Virginia Hunt was a painter, goldsmith, and editor, and served with the American Red Cross during both world wars.
